"Kokuu" is a brand by jewelry designer Yoshiko Chonan, who creates objects and accessories themed around imaginary cities in her atelier in Yanaka, Tokyo. Each tiny brass object, small enough to fit on a fingertip, has a story behind it. The small white box containing the object has a story card inside, and by placing the object on the blank space of the card, it can be displayed like a page from a picture book. It's also fun to combine your favorites and weave a new story. "'The Tram by the Sea' reminded me of the view of the pier I arrived at after riding a tram in Gothenburg, Sweden.
